The 15-day Annapurna and Poon Hill Trek offers a captivating journey through Nepal’s diverselandscapes and rich cultural heritage. Starting in Kathmandu, you’ll explore vibrant Thamel beforedriving to Pokhara. The trek begins with a scenic drive to Nayapool, leading to Tikhedhunga. From there,you’ll ascend to Ghorepani (2,875m), a gateway to the stunning sunrise views from Poon Hill (3,210m),where the majestic Himalayas unfold before you.
Continuing through rhododendron forests, you’ll reach Tadapani and Chhomrong (2,170m), wheretraditional Gurung and Magar villages showcase their unique cultures. The trek takes you to Dovan,Deurali (3,200m), and finally Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), where panoramic views of Annapurna I,Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (6,998m) await.
Descending to Bamboo, Jhinu Danda (1,760m) offers rejuvenating natural hot springs. The trekconcludes with a drive back to Pokhara (1,565m) for relaxation and exploration, including boating onPhewa Lake and visiting the World Peace Pagoda. Returning to Kathmandu, you’ll have a final chance tosoak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere before departure.
